Role & Responsibilities

Position Overview

The role and responsibilities of the Funding Co-Ordinator is a voluntary position and the main function of this post is to work with the Event Director on securing financial sponsorships and financial opportunities for Herts Pride.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Establish links and connections with local businesses who are to represented at Herts Pride.
Manage the booking of the businesses to attend or be represented at the event.


Present to key businesses who may be interested in supporting Herts Pride as a sponsor.
Attend key networking meetings in the County the establish and maintain good business connections.
Working with the Marketing Co-Ordinator gain publicity for the event with local businesses.

Leadership and organisational skills.
Experience of key business relations.
Approachable and friendly.
Excellent communication skills.
Enthusiastic and good motivator.
